Most spectacular bolt of the evening, and I managed to catch it!!!

Now, if only the lights hadn't been there, making obnoxious lens flares I can't remove with content aware fill!

Also, wow, this wasn't exactly well-forecast. If I'd had any idea this was moving in, I'd have taken my camera out to the park. Getting this over the lake would have been absolutely phenomenal... and, no street lights.

Beautiful capture. The details on the website say that it was taken at a focal length of 11mm but does not go into any further lens detail. Can you tell me what lens you used?

I was using a Tokina SD 11-16mm f/2.8 ATX-116 Pro DX Digital Zoom Lens for Canon EOS cameras. It's been a couple of years since I got it, but, I bought mine on Amazon after there was a fairly substantial price dip.
